Jornada Abordaje integral del cáncer por la Escuela Andaluza de Salud Pública

La Escuela Andaluza de Salud Pública organiza una jornada profesional sobre el diagnóstico y tratamiento del cáncer, en colaboración con la Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer (AECC), cuya sede provincial de Sevilla (C/Marqués de Paradas, 22) es el lugar de celebración de la misma. El objetivo de la sesión es conocer el viaje del paciente oncológico en el nuevo entorno COVID-19 en Andalucía, junto a la realidad asistencial, las buenas prácticas y los retos de futuro en cáncer, después de la pandemia de COVID-19.

Para ello, la jornada de la Escuela Andaluza de Salud Pública, integrada en la Consejería de Salud y Familias de la Junta de Andalucía, cuenta con la coordinación científica de David Vicente Baz, director de la Estrategia de Cáncer en Andalucía y jefe de sección de Oncología Médica en el Hospital Universitario Virgen Macarena; y María José Sánchez Pérez, profesora de la Escuela Andaluza de Salud Pública y directora científica del Instituto de Investigación Biosanitaria, ibs.GRANADA.

Andalusian School of Public Health’s Integrated Approach to Cancer Conference

The Andalusian School of Public Health is organising a professional conference on the diagnosis and treatment of cancer, in collaboration with the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC), whose provincial headquarters in Seville (C/Marqués de Paradas, 22) is the venue for the event. The aim of the session is to learn about the cancer patient’s journey in the new COVID-19 environment in Andalusia, together with the reality of care, good practices and future challenges in cancer, after the COVID-19 pandemic.

For this purpose, the conference of the Andalusian School of Public Health, part of the Ministry of Health and Families of the Andalusian Regional Government, will be scientifically coordinated by David Vicente Baz, director of the Andalusian Cancer Strategy and head of the Medical Oncology section at the Virgen Macarena University Hospital; and María José Sánchez Pérez, professor at the Andalusian School of Public Health and scientific director of the Institute of Biosanitary Research, ibs.GRANADA.
