‘Antígonas, Tribunal de Mujeres’ (‘Antigone, Court of Women’) is a collective creation where six women victims of violence in Colombia do catharsis on stage while denouncing crimes against humanity. In the photograph, actress Ángela Triana Gallego screaming without being able to produce any sound. A metaphor of what happens in Colombia where nobody seems to care about crimes of State and violence in general. A deaf and blind country where victims find a lot of resistant to be listened and believed, especially when the crime they have suffered goes beyond imagination, as it happens with the ‘false positive’ scandals. Bogota, October 2014.
